Back in 2011, I was caught in a grassfire during a 100km ultramarathon and left with burns to 65% of my body.


Learning to walk again was hard. Running felt impossible.I went from struggling to run 20 metres…to competing at the Ironman World Championships just five years later.

By starting small, letting myself be a beginner, and backing myself along the way.
